Surface mount technology (SMT) is the process of placing and soldering electronic components directly onto the surface of a printed circuit board — the dominant assembly method for modern electronics. Vishesh operates three dedicated Siemens SMT lines from its 45,000 sq ft facility at Gottigere, Bangalore, with a combined capacity of 206,700 CPH and full component capability from 0201 passives through to BGA, LGA, CSP, and 0.3mm fine pitch QFP packages.


Vishesh's SMT assembly services are part of a fully integrated electronics manufacturing services operation — covering everything from incoming material inspection and solder paste printing through to reflow, AOI, and functional testing — under a single ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 certified quality system, issued by TÜV Rheinland. SMT assembly at Vishesh is available for both prototype quantities and volume production, for OEMs across defence, automotive, industrial, and IoT sectors.

Component Range

Wave Soldering

In addition to SMT, Vishesh's wave soldering line handles through-hole components at 6,000 boards per day (100mm length), supporting mixed SMT and THT assemblies within a single production flow.

Solder Paste Printing

Solder paste is applied to the PCB using a stencil printer.
